This course deals with deeply personal material. You deserve a straight answer about exactly what data we collect, what stays on your device, and who can see what. No legal jargon — just plain English.
Every exercise, worksheet, and reflection prompt in the Relationship Intelligence Quest — the Shadow Naming Ceremony, the Anchor Script Builder, the Storm Recovery Worksheets, the Values Excavation, and all other interactive activities — is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage.
This means your responses never leave your device. They are never transmitted to our servers, never stored in any database, and never seen by us or anyone else. If you clear your browser history or switch to a different device, that data is simply gone.
We designed it this way intentionally. The content of this course is deeply personal. What you write in these exercises is yours — and it should stay yours.
Because your data lives in your browser, we have no way to recover it if you clear your browser data. If you want to keep your work, use the "Download Field Guide" PDF feature available in each module — that creates a local copy you can save permanently.
When you enroll in the course, we collect your email address for two purposes: to deliver your course access confirmation, and to send you course-related communications (such as module unlock notifications or important updates).
Your email is stored securely on our platform. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third-party marketers. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.
We use Stripe to process all payments. When you click "Enroll Now," you are redirected to Stripe's secure checkout page — a completely separate, Stripe-hosted environment.
Your card number, CVV, expiry date, and billing details are entered directly into Stripe's interface. That information goes directly to Stripe. It never passes through our servers. We never see it. We cannot see it.
Stripe is certified as a PCI Service Provider Level 1 — the most rigorous level of certification available in the payment card industry. They use 256-bit SSL encryption, run continuous fraud monitoring, and are trusted by millions of businesses worldwide.
We retain only what Stripe returns to us after a successful transaction: a confirmation that payment was made, the amount, and the date. No card numbers, no CVV, no billing address.
We may collect anonymised, aggregated data about how pages are used — things like which modules are most visited, general geographic regions, and device types. This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used solely to improve the course experience.
No individual tracking, no behavioural profiling, and no data tied to your identity.
Can you see what I write in the exercises?
No. Everything you write in any interactive exercise — your Shadow name, your scripts, your reflections — is stored only in your browser's local storage. It never reaches our servers. We have zero visibility into any of it.
What happens to my data if I clear my browser?
Your exercise responses will be deleted, since they live only in your browser. Your enrollment status is tied to your email address and purchase record, so your course access is unaffected — but your in-course work will be gone. We recommend downloading your Field Guide PDFs if you want a permanent record.
Who processes my payment?
Stripe handles all payments. When you click 'Enroll', you're taken to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Your card details never touch our servers — they go directly from your browser to Stripe's secure environment. We receive only a confirmation that a payment was made.
Do you share my email with anyone?
No. Your email is used only to confirm your enrollment and send you course-related communications. We do not sell, rent, or share it with third-party advertisers or marketers.
How do I request deletion of my data?
Email us at hello@theconnectionquest.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and we'll remove your email and purchase record from our systems within 30 days.
